Technical Designer at Saysky

Are you ready to bring high-performance running apparel to the next level? SAYSKY is on an exciting growth path, and we’re looking for a Technical Designer to join our dynamic team.

Location: Copenhagen HQ | Full-time | On-site

Since 2013, we’ve been creating innovative, high-performance apparel for runners worldwide, combining function, style, and a casual, confident attitude.

As our Technical Designer, you will play a pivotal role in our product development process, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and maintaining our uncompromising standards for fit, comfort, and performance. You will collaborate closely with our design team to drive innovation, elevate our product offerings and translate creative ideas into technically perfect, production-ready apparel.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and update tech packs, measurement charts, and grading standards.
Ensure perfect fit across all styles through fitting sessions and feedback from athletes.
Keeping our size chart library up to date.
Measure and review samples from prototype to shipment sample, ensuring adherence to specifications.
Communicate clearly with suppliers to resolve technical challenges and maintain high-quality production.
Develop and update guidelines and manuals for suppliers to follow to ensure excellent cooperation.
Oversee and maintain a structured overview of all sample stages (proto, SMS, PP, and shipment samples), ensuring all items are documented, and available when needed.
Manage and prepare samples for photoshoots and maintaining an internal sample library to support campaign production and marketing needs.
Support in ERP and other internal system updates.

Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in technical design, preferably in sportswear.
High understanding of garment construction, sizing, proportion and production processes.
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Excel.
Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality standards.
Excellent communication skills in Danish and English, verbal and written.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

Experience in creating detailed tech packs and leading fitting sessions.
In-depth understanding of performance materials and their functional properties.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and prioritizing workload effectively.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
It will be a plus if you are passionate about sports, with a genuine interest in performance apparel.
