SAYSKY is embarking on an exciting growth journey, and we are seeking a dedicated Design Assistant to join our dynamic team. Established in 2013, SAYSKY is a leading brand in the global niche running industry, renowned for delivering high-performance apparel with an urban and casual attitude to runners worldwide.

About the Role:

As a Design Assistant at SAYSKY, you will support our design team in bringing innovative and stylish running apparel to market.

You will be involved in various stages of the design and production process, from concept development to final production, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

It is essential that you have a keen interest in technical apparel and a willingness to learn through hands-on experience. As part of our small and dynamic team, you will be expected to take on a variety of tasks, from assisting in design and production processes to handling day-to-day errands and office duties.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive experience across different functions and grow within the company. Flexibility and a proactive, can-do attitude are crucial for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the design team in developing seasonal collections and accessories.
  • Update tech packs, measurement charts, and other design documentation.
  • Coordinate samples at all stages, including for photo shoots, sending and tracking samples, supporting and preparing for fittings, and keeping track of SMS.
  • Maintain sample libraries and handle fabric swatches.
  • Assist in the creation of line sheets for internal reviews and external sales meetings.
  • Update information in SPY, our ERP system.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a design-related role, preferably in sportswear or activewear.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of garment construction, fabric properties, and production processes.
  • High organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills in Danish and English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a creative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant design degree.
  • Experience in creating tech packs.
  • Strong sense of aesthetics and understanding of current fashion trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Passionate about sports and performance apparel, with an interest in Scandinavian design principles.
